Amanda Dye
Amanda Dye hails from Evanston, IL, where she began her training at the Evanston School of Ballet under the direction of Kerry Hubata. In 2008, she graduated from the University of Michigan- Ann Arbor with a Bachelor of Dance Arts degree and a Bachelor of Arts degree. She remained in Michigan to perform with Ann Arbor Dance Works for one season before returning to her native Chicago and joining Project606 Dance. Nowadays, she trains primarily with Paul Sanasardo at the Joel Hall Dancers Center, and performed in Paul Sanasardo and Dmitri Peskov’s Two Evenings of Dance Drama in June. Over the years, Amanda has also had the privilege of performing in works by Laura Wade, Peter Sparling, Amy Chavasse, Gay Delanghe and others, and has danced extensively on camera in This Way Up.tv.

 

Amanda Telischak
Amanda Telischak received a B.A. in Dance and Communication from the University of Wisconsin, Stevens Point. In Chicago, Amanda has worked with such professional companies as Chicago Dance Crash, Corpo Dance Company, Ballet Legere, the Chicago Opera Theatre, Weave Soundpainting Orchestra, and The Every People Jazz Workshop. She is also fortunate to have been chosen to appear as a dancer in the Universal Pictures feature film, “Public Enemies.” Amanda has also been teaching dance and yoga to students of all ages for the past eight years, and is currently in the process of becoming certified in Pilates. Amanda is always open to new artistic opportunities and feels fortunate to be a founding member of Project606 Dance!


Heather Overbeck
Heather has received a BFA Degree in Dance Performance and Choreography from the University of Texas at Austin. Her choreography has been performed at the VORTEX Repertory Company Theatre, Hyde Park Theatre, and the B. Iden Payne Theatre in Austin, TX as well as Act One Studios and the Athenaeum Theatre in Chicago. She is also a former member of Zephyr Dance, a contemporary company in Chicago. Heather has been teaching dance for over ten years and is currently serving her third year as the Director of Principle Dance Studio in Riverside, IL.

 


Kara McDonald
Kara McDonald (Chicago IL) graduated from Texas Christian University in 2007 with a BFA in Ballet and Modern dance. While at TCU she performed in works by Fernando Bujones, Christian Von Howard, Susan Douglas Roberts, Li Chou Cheng and other various choreographers. Kara enjoys teaching at various studious in the Chicago land area.  

 

 

 


Kelly McDonald
Kelly graduated from the University of Iowa with a BA in Dance and an Entrepreneurship Certificate. She has performed works by renown choreographers such as Alan Sener, Armando Duarte, and Charlotte Adams and performed a summer series of Duarte Dance Works pieces. She has also taught at local area studios.  

 

 

 

 


Leah Brady
Originally from Western New York, Leah received her BFA in Dance Performance from Kent State University, Ohio in May of 2008. While at Kent, she performed in works by Cliff Keuter, Kimberly Karpanty, Kora Radella, Gina Kohler and other various choreographers.  Leah was also honored to have a featured role in, American modern dance pioneer, May O’Donnell’s historical work, Suspension (1943), reconstructed and staged by Barbara Allegra Verlezza. She has been honored by her peers, as well as faculty in the School of Theatre and Dance with the Samuel Stillings Memorial Award in 2007 and The School of Theatre and Dance Scholarship Award in 2008. Leah is excited to be a part of Project606 Dance!

 

Jenny DeMuth
Hailing from Madison Wisconsin, with guidance from mentors Charmaine Ristow and Robin Pettersen; Jenny received her undergraduate degree, in Art and Dance, from the University of Wisconsin- Whitewater. After accepting a Fellowship Grant to the University of Michigan Masters Program, Jenny completed a graduate degree in Performance and Choreography. Jenny has had the opportunity to study with dance legends; Doug Varone, Elizabeth Streb, and Janet Lily. In Chicago, she has performed with the Lyric Opera and worked with other modern dance companies. She is thrilled to be a member of Project606 Dance.
